Topic:
People away being contactable on their mobile phones

There are many benefits and limitations of people always being contactable on
their mobile phone. The main benefits include: accessibility and security for
people, as well as the ability to access multiple plate forms of communication,
such as, social media, text and email. In today’s world mobile phones are
necessities for both personal and professional use because having the ability to
contact loved ones or emergency services at anytime reduces response time or
can put loved ones minds at easy. However, these benefits are only one side of
the argument.

While the benefits are significant, the limitations cannot be overlooked. The first
limitation that needs to be considered is that it is not always appropriate to be
contacted by mobile phone in certain environments, for example, when driving a
motor vehicle which mostly likely could result in an accident; or during an exam
causing the student to fail. Both theses limitation have negative consequences
for people being contactable on their mobile phones. People need to accept that
the benefits far out way the limitations and develop individual practices when
and where it is appropriate to utilise this technology.
