Basic Service Parts for the XL Series
The first service level consists of parts that the service engineer should carry with him or
have access to when servicing Selectra. These are all small parts that often are needed. In
the case of a service call for a Selectra we advice also to refer to the extended carkit for
service engineers. The mentioned parts are also included in the carkit and basic warehouse
kit.

Warehouse Service Parts Kits for XL Series
This is a list of recommended spareparts that a distributor should have in stock, depending
on the size of the installed base. The list is based on the fact that the instrument is
maintained every 6 months and all parts, as advised in the PM kit, are exchanged.

Maintenance Kits
In order to support preventive maintenance on the XL, two maintenance kits have been
developed. The Half yearly kit contains parts that need replacement every 6 months. The
Yearly kit contains parts that need replacement every year. This means that every year 2 half
yearly kits and 1 yearly kit should be used. In order to encourage you to use the kits instead
of ordering the items separately a discount is given on the kits. Note that below the kits parts
are listed that also need regular replacement, but of which the frequency of replacement
depends on ambient factors and especially the workload of the instrument.
