Dear parents,

It is my pleasure to recommend Bailey Engel as a teacher, private tutor, and nanny. Bailey is
professional and organized, and her positive energy and passion for teaching help empower
children to believe in and practice their greatest abilities and potential for continued success.
Bailey is a gifted teacher who diligently plans challenging and intriguing learning activities to
engage the whole child. She begins with getting to know each student to develop a clear
understanding of individual strengths and challenges and from there integrates a social-
emotional balance into her teaching that not only supports excellent learning but also
individualized growth as a confident and motivated human being.

As a supervising professor in our Professional Development School program at Clarke

University, I had the opportunity to observe Bailey create and teach engaging lessons based
upon elementary curriculum for children of varying ability levels ranging from Kindergarten
through grade five. She understands that social interactions play a critical role in learning and
how to build upon each child’s natural stage of developmental and problem-solving abilities
through personalized guidance and the creative and intentional collaboration of working
together with peers. In essence, Baily understands how children learn and truly gets to know
each student on a personal level to develop the best learning environment and activities for each
learner. Baily consistently models kindness, patience, and respect and has a great sense of
humor that helps her consistently create fun and engaging learning environments.

I highly recommend Bailey Engel as a talented teacher and childcare professional. Learning
with her in a personalized, small group environment has potential for exponential academic and
social-emotional growth for each student in her care.

Warm regards,
