(a) HISTORY AND BACKGROUND OF OUR COMPANY

Dine & Vibe Restaurant was officially set up three years ago on 1 January 2016 by

the current Manager of Dine & Vibe now, Nur Alia Natasha binti Fozi with the starting

capital of RM 100 000. This restaurant is a sole proprietorship business but the manager was

helped by few of her friends during the opening of business who are now the top

managements for Dine & Vibe. Initially, Dine & Vibe was small-sized restaurant with few

workers operating at a strategic location which is located at Georgetown, Penang as it is a

suitable spot where tourists will be.

Year by year, the restaurant was upgraded and now known as the famous western

restaurant in Penang island. This is because, the food served here is beyond expectations and

at the affordable price. Locals and foreigners gave huge supports towards our business

throughout these 3 years. As mentioned, our restaurant is based on western foods like pizza,

burgers, grilled steaks and also served with desserts together with cold beverages. Our menus

are always improvised according to customers feedback and also newest trend to attract

customers. Other than dining in and take-aways, our restaurant provides our own delivery

services to customers within the area of Penang who unable to visit our restaurant. Dine &

Vibe not only provides good and tasty food but also prepare good vibes in form of music and

environment to keep the customers engaged with the restaurant.

Dine & Vibe Restaurant aims to serve excellent and attractive western food with friendly yet

instructive service to every guest in order to become the best western restaurant in the town.

Besides, we also want to ensure our customers to have the best and realistic dining

their meal.

Dine & Vibe is known for quality food, exceptional prices, and a spacious and superb

dining atmosphere. Our menu offers an array of flavourful dishes that are sure to satisfy any

appetite. We are also having live band shows on every Saturday night. In fact, that’s the high

peak time in our restaurant and many customers come for them specifically. We also accept

booking and reservation for private functions or special events. We do provide delivery

services and customers can call on our restaurant’s line or order through delivery apps.

(g) OBJECTIVE OF BUSINESS PROPOSAL

Dine & Vibe is a restaurant based western foods and currently we had only opened a

branch in Penang. However, our main objective is to open more franchises all over in

Malaysia as well as providing good delivery services through Foodpanda/Grabfood app in

order to make people’s life easier. Food delivery service is vital for those people who are

having hectic schedule throughout the day with their jobs.

Moreover, we also have a clear motive to provide quality and clean services to customers and

also to full-fill their satisfaction. Most importantly, we have the responsibility to give high

efficiency of delivery service to our customers to prevent any complaints or dissatisfaction.

Not only that, but we are always welcoming feedbacks from customers just to improvise our

service into a better level of outcome.

(h) REASONS AND JUSTIFICATION

The main reason why we are expanding our business in a franchise form to all over the states

in Malaysia because there will be a great opportunity to get higher return and indirectly able

to promote our restaurant so that it will be well-known by everyone in Malaysia.

As it was mentioned, our restaurant in Georgetown, Penang is the one and only, so we want

to enlarge the business to nearby state like Kedah, Perak and so on. This is because when we

open branches in different states we can also provide delivery services in order to make

customers feel easy and convenient to get our food anytime at anywhere besides Penang area

through the online app called Foodpanda/Grabfood. In addition, we are able to generate extra

income through delivery charges. Customers can also order via our website or app for

delivery apart from making reservation for take-away and dine-in. The important part here is

to let Dine & Vibe Restaurant known by everyone in Malaysia and provide the best service

for customers satisfaction.
