Public Notice
It is to inform to all concerned that the news published in the print media regarding
Admissions of Bihar DRCC Students is not factually correct as regards Jagannath
University, Jaipur is concerned. The allegation in the news regarding bulk admissions is
false. It is clarified that the University has taken admission of 268 students only under
the DRCC Scheme in Session 2018-19. Moreover, these students are scattered in
various UG/PG Courses i. e, Management, Engineering, Agriculture, Paramedical, etc.
This Number is very small as compared to overall student admitted from all over the
country and abroad.

2. The University is charging a Fee from DRCC Students is much less than the actual fees
charged from other students. This is simply to discharge our social responsibility to
educate to poor and down trodden in true spirit of DRCC Scheme launched by the
Government of Bihar.

3. The University has been established in 2008 by the Government of Rajasthan and
recognized by UGC. The University has been accredited with Grade ‘B’ (Good) by
National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is also a member of the
Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University is running various UG /PG
Programmes with the approval of the concerned regulatory bodies including Bar Council
of India (BCI), Council of Architecture (COA), National Council for Teacher
Education(NCTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Distance Education Bureau (DEB-UGC)
etc. All the Approvals, Sanctions, Recognitions and Accreditations are available on the
University Website.

4. The University has excellent academic and physical infrastructure including well
equipped Laboratories, Agricultural Field, Library, Hostel for boys and girls, Sports
Complex, Gymnasium, Auditorium, Cafeteria, Health Center, Wi-Fi Connectivity,
Transport facility etc. Anybody can visit the University campus to see these facilities and
also the quality of education imparted by the University. The University functions
through is various bodies i.e. Board of Studies, Academic Council, Board of
Management, etc. as per the provisions laid down in the Act.

5. The University follows all the norms in their true spirit stipulated by the State
Government of Rajasthan, UGC, Regulatory Bodies, etc.

In view of the above, the students, their parents and public at large should not be
misguided by any false rumors spread with ulterior motives by some miscreants.
