Cut:
Cut along the solid lines. We recommend using a sharp utility knife with a metal ruler as a guide
(see diagram). You can also use scissors.
Fold:
Before folding, you need to score the fold lines. You can use a special scoring tool, a sharp object
like a safety pin or a utility knife. You need to scratch the surface of the paper to force it to fold in
the right place but not cutting it all the way. Use a ruler for accurate straight lines.
Dashed line - Valley folds. The paper will form a valley or V shape on the printed side of the page
(this fold will bulge out on the clean exterior of the model).
Dash dot line - Mountain folds. The paper will bulge out on the printed side of the page.
Utility knife + metal ruler
Glue:
Use a good quality quick drying liquid glue, We use UHU all purpose adhesive (yellow tube) or
Scotch gel glue (green tube). Cover the flaps with a thin layer of glue to prevent seams. The glue
should be applied on the clear (not printed) side of the paper. Moutain
fold
Assembly:
The model parts are build from surfaces and flaps. Flaps are used to attach different surfaces to
each other. Flaps are marked with the letter F and a number and are glued to the corresponding
number printed on another surface.
The parts are numbered in the optimal assembly order.
