Wetzel County Office of Emergency Management has put in place with donations from
Covestro, Westlake, Blue Racer, Williams Energy, Mon Power and the Wetzel County
Commission a New Martinsville Warning Siren System. The system will be used in the
event of an emergency where the public will need to be sheltered in place or
evacuated.

We will be conducting a live test of the New Martinsville Siren system on Wednesday
August 5th starting at 2pm. There are 4 sirens located across the City of New
Martinsville to provide coverage to the entire City.
