There is Many ways to address the topic of justice, we can define it from a
culture perspective or from a certain ideology or philosophical school or an ethnic,
religious, way.

but in this article, we will articulate justice from a cultural point of view and
how the bounders of justice various across cultures. So, lets discuss the term of
(cultural justice).

firstly, we must define what “justice” and “culture” refers to.

At its most basic sense “justice” can be defined as (the quality of being just,
impartial, or fair). On the other hand, “culture” can be defined as: “the general
term for the symbolic and learned aspects of human society” 1 Thus, “cultural
differences” in this context are reflected in the different norms and values between
societies.

Like any aspects of a society justice differs from one region to another.

These norms and values are not static, so there is no wonder that some actions
contradict tremendously across regions, and in the same region across time so, let’s
take the Female genital mutilation (FMG) as an example.

1
[CITATION exa \l 1033 ]
FGM is the ritual cutting or removal of some or all of the external female
genitalia[ CITATION Mar99 \l 1033 ].

This action is still practiced today in areas like (Africa, southeast Asia, middle
east) this act is outrageous violation of human rights of girls and woman. In some
communities FGM is almost universally performed and unquestioned for it is a
social norm, and it’s considered (as they think) a necessary part of raising a girl
because it aims to ensure premarital virginity and marital fidelity.

FGM is a form of violence against the girls and the woman and also an
infringement into the rights of the woman in the society and to prevent it there is
nations that made law Criminalize this act like Egypt South Africa, Cote, …

It’s a devastating health issue that strives under the pretext of social cultural
beliefs.
