MINUTES OF MEETING DURING LAC SESSION ON THE UTILIZATION OF COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING

NETWORKING PROCEDURES

The three day LAC session facilitated by Mr. Jay Jay G. Pastrana and Ms. Aiza Marie Galera focused on the
installing, maintaining, configuring, and diagnosing computer systems and networks. The following were:
On the first day, Mr. Jay Jay G. Pastrana and Ms. Aiza Marie Galera, facilitators, assisted the teachers on
how to do the following:
 Step by step process on driver and Google Chrome installation in the Windows 7 client.
 Internet protocol configuration
 Change advance sharing settings
 How to turn off Firewall settings
 Router configuration
 Set administrator password

Second day, Mr. Jay Jay G. Pastrana and Ms. Aiza Marie Galera, facilitated the teachers on the following
activity:
 How to set new password on 2008 Server
 Driver and Google Chrome installation on new server
 How to change computer name and description
 Internet Protocol configuration
 File sharing
 Printer sharing
 How to add roles
 How to use DCPROMO
 Step by step process on creating new user account

Third day, the following were directed:

 How to setup computer name and domain name in system settings
 How to login using computer administrator account
 Step by step process on using remote settings
 How to use remote desktop connection
 How to print documents wirelessly

The Session starts every 4:00 pm and ended at 5:00 pm.
