An Expedition Tour To France - Aerospace Industries
An Expedition Tour To France - Aerospace Industries
Every year, new schools and colleges are being opened in almost all cities in India, but the quality
of education is still a long-awaited dream for millions of Indian students. In schools and colleges,
lots of attention is given to theory and books and practical knowledge is completely ignored. Its
import for us to understand that the practical exposer is equally important for the growth of the
student. We need to ensure quality in our education system and this can be achieved by involving
them into practical & problem-solving projects with the use of creative and critical thinking.
And to address this issue in India, EIFE comes with the model of Expedition Education.
Expedition Education is a way to explore the world and learn new things by themselves.
Expedition Education combines travel and authentic educational experiences by exploring,
learning, doing, connecting with different people. Though these Expedition Education Tour
students will get a chance to connect with the wider world and opportunities to gain experience
outside of India by visiting different Industries, Companies, Universities, and Places.
Expedition Education visits not only provide an opportunity to visit industries or Universities, its
more about understanding the different culture and the people of different countries, knowing
more about countries, their economies, their working culture and societies.
And EIFE would like to invite you for the upcoming Expedition tour to France in June 2019 to
explore the French Aerospace Industry.
On the programme:
1st stage / Telemetry room: presentation of the
A380 programme and its certification campaign (first
flights & test campaigns)
2nd stage / J.L. Lagardère Plant: from a belvedere
built into the plant, enjoy the view over the interior
stations (currently under constructions) and exterior
general testing stations, and over the whole site.
Detailed presentation of the A380 production
process. Due to current works on the A380 Final
Assembly Line, visitors are exceptionally given the
possibility of approaching the outside positions
during a coach tour.
Aeroscopia An important historical resource forging strong links
between the past, present and future of the aviation
world, aeroscopia’s aim is not only to preserve and
optimise the presentation of unique items provided
by local heritage organisations and Airbus
Operations SAS, but also to pass on aeronautical
culture – a fundamental building block in the
construction of the region’s identity.
Supervised by the Museum’s Scientific Council, the
Collections Department coordinates all tasks related
to the management, preventive conservation and
development of the collections in close cooperation
with partner societies, industrial organisations and
institutions.
Operations to restore the planes will be carried out
in the Restoration Workshop by the owners of the
collections, especially Ailes Anciennes Toulouse, or
by accredited restorers. In the years to come,
restoration work on the planes will enable the
museum’s content to be adapted, sustaining its
dynamic appeal.
Activities related to documentary research and the
production of scientific and technical information
will be managed jointly with partner societies and
will contribute to the museum’s activities as a whole,
from conservation to facilitation.
