Instructions
☐You have to watch videos about present perfect and simple past tense that I’ve

☐Then, read and practice a dialogue about Job Interview below with your family or
relatives. Also, you can read it aloud alone.
☐Answer the questions about Job Interview and type it in Ms. Word/PDF (write it
down if you don’t have PC/Phone). Attach your file in Edmodo.
☐Please take a picture while you are studying and attach it in Edmodo also.
☐Read useful expressions in job interview.
☐At the end of this task you have to write/type a conversation script about job
interview. (Ms. Word or PDF)
☐I won’t accept files on my WhatsApp number because my SD card is overloaded.
☐Submit all of your files (your answers and your photo) in the portal of assignment
in Edmodo.

Dialogue: Job Interview (Practice this dialogue with your family or

relatives. You can also practice this conversation alone.
Interviewer: How many jobs have you had since leaving university?
Candidate: I've worked for six companies.
Interviewer: Why have you changed jobs so often?
Candidate: I wanted to earn more money.
Interviewer: What have you done that shows leadership?
Candidate: Well, I lead the sales team. I'm also chairperson of a local business
association.
Interviewer: What are your strengths?
Candidate: I'm fluent in Italian and Spanish. I'm good at training sales staff and I
get on well with people. I think I'm very good at organizing seminars for
customers.
Interviewer: In what ways has your job changed since you joined the company?
Candidate: I now have more responsibility and work longer hours.
Interviewer: What mistakes have you made?
Candidate: I'm not patient when people don't meet deadlines.
Interviewer: Have you ever worked with a difficult person?
Candidate: Well, the boss in my last company wasn't easy to work with

Activity: Writing a conversation

You have to write a script about asking and answering questions on the topic of “Job
Interview” using present perfect and past simple. You can read the example on
 the dialogue above. You have to write a conversation script minimum 8 questions
and 8 answers. Then, you must submit your answer in the form of PDF or Ms.
Word and attach your file to your Edmodo account. I won’t accept files on my
WhatsApp because my SD card is overloaded.
