Education requirements A degree is not required for this occupation. A lot of fashion designers are self taught but there
or training for this career are those that choose to get a Bachelor's degree in fashion design or something similar.
Salary range and types of Median pay is $74,000 as of May 2019. The pay usually ranges between
benefits $40,000-$150,000.
Typical work setting Since there are so many routes a fashion designer can go, there is a wide variety of
work environments one can be encompassed by. If self-employed, one will usually
have a studio producing their own garments. If one is employed by someone else, this
can include working in a bigger company often with lots of other people. Fashion
Designers put a lot of hours into their work each week and it is usually not a repetitive
schedule.
I wanted to work for Gucci for a very long time but recently I have been looking

trends markets to keep themselves up to date on incoming trends.
