    or training for this career are those that choose to get a Bachelor's degree in fashion design or something similar.

    Typical work setting Since there are so many routes a fashion designer can go, there is a wide variety of
    work environments one can be encompassed by. If self-employed, one will usually
    have a studio producing their own garments. If one is employed by someone else, this
    can include working in a bigger company often with lots of other people. Fashion
    Designers put a lot of hours into their work each week and it is usually not a repetitive
    schedule.

    I wanted to work for Gucci for a very long time but recently I have been looking
    List potential employers
    into more French design houses. Some potential employers are: Isabel Marant,
    Yves Saint Laurent, CELINE. They are not jobs that I could get into right after
    graduating but they are places that I would like to work myself into one day.

    There are hot spots in this occupation like any other. Common cities for this
    occupation are: New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, etc. Fashion
    Placement outlook and Designers often have to travel too. They will attend different trade shows and
    trends markets to keep themselves up to date on incoming trends.

    everyday. way up.
