President Obama’s message for America’s Students.
The president's message to the students of the United States was based on two twin pillars
of his vision: there is great hope and great potential in the United States; But the fulfillment
of that hope depends on hard work and personal responsibility.
Each of us has something they are good at and we also have something to offer. which we
have the responsibility to discover what is that !! That is the opportunity you can provide
with an education. He also said that none of this would be possible without an education,
because the school may not always be fun and that each lesson is not the most stimulating,
he insisted on what is necessary. rewarding hard work can be no matter where you come
from.
The circumstances of his life, how he looks, where he comes from, how much money he
has, what he has at home, none of this is an excuse to neglect your homework or have a bad
attitude at school. That is not an excuse to talk to your teacher, to interrupt class or drop out
of school. There is no excuse for not TRYING.
What I liked about the message "Where are you now does not have to determine where you
will end up". No one has written your destiny for you, because here in America, you write
your own destiny. You make your own future. That's what young people like you do every
day, across the United States.
As an example he put young people who have worked so hard which are not different from
us. They face challenges in their lives just like you. In some cases, they have it much worse
than many of you. But they refused to surrender. They chose to take responsibility for their
lives, for their education and set goals for themselves. And I hope you all do the same.
That is why it is good for each of us to set their own goals for their education and do
everything possible to meet them. Your goal may be something as simple as doing all your
homework, paying attention in class, or spending some time each day reading a book. You
may decide to get involved in an extracurricular activity or volunteer in your community.
