OFFICE MEMORANDUM

TO : ALL HEADS OF CSC CENTRAL AND REGIONAL OFFICES

SUBJECT : Adoption of Work from Home Arrangement in the Central


Offices, Regional Offices and Their Respective Field
Offices in Luzon

Pursuant to the 17 March 2020 issuance of the Office of the President, Memorandum
Circular on Community Quarantine Over the Entire Luzon and Further Guidelines for
the Management of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Situation, the Heads
of Offices in the Central Office, Regional Offices and their respective Field Offices in
Luzon, in observance of the strict home quarantine policy, are advised only to observe
the work from home arrangement.

Work assignments, as the case maybe, shall be determined by the Heads of Offices
for the duration of the work from home arrangement. The same shall be effective for
the period of 17 March 2020 until 13 April 2020. Attached is a template which the
Offices may use to monitor assignments.

Offices are encouraged to undertake virtual modes of communication to address


urgent matters and to attend to stakeholders’ concerns and/or queries such as but
not limited to mobile hotline, email, Facebook and other social media platforms
provided the CSC social media policy pursuant to CSC Resolution No. 1700462 dated
February 23, 2017 is observed.

For the rest of the CSC Regional Offices and their respective Field Offices, CSC
Office Memorandum No. 16, s. 2020 on Adoption of Alternative Work Arrangements
and Other Precautionary Measures in Light of Code Red Sub-Level 2, shall apply.
