Evidence: What was happening when it happened?

Part A

The images below show a series of events. Write sentences in past continuous or
past simple.

Example:

Part B

Think about when you were 12 years old. Write three paragraphs about the things
that you used to do, you used to like or used to hate and explain why. You have
some ideas in the box.
I used to be a rebel.
I used to be lazy.
I used to work hard.
I used to like all the teachers.
I used to play a lot of video
games.
I used to wear a uniform.
I used to hate vegetables.
I used to have longer hair.
I used to play football.
I used to wear glasses.

When I reached 12 years of age I felt that I had no family and the same
time that I was not part of society. I was usually disobedient rebellious,
disrespectful, conceited, selfish, unfriendly, violent, pessimistic, intolerant,
I used to have long hair, I used to not play sports. A rebel without a cause.

He smiled like the actors in the commercials and dressed in style to be


accepted by others. In my adolescence I lived it in a not very conscious
way, I only thought about the present and not the future.

When I started to grow, to mature, to realize myself as a person, to from


my own opinion, my knowledge and my being, my life began to change. I
usually started looking for ways to find happiness in other things,
sometimes in everyday thing in life.
