1) The sum and the product of three consecutive terms of G.P. are 6 and -64
respectively. Find the three terms of G.P.? (4)

2) If a = 25/243 and r = 3/5, find Tn and Sn. Hence find the 5 th term and the sum of
first five terms. (4)

3) The sum of first 6 terms of a G.P. is 111.111 and its common ratio is 0.1. Find the
first of progression. (2)

4) For a G.P. S10 = 33 * S5, find r. (2)

5) The total usage of a person for the 5 years are Rs 2x, 6x/5, 18x/25, 54x/125,
162x/625. If the total usage of 5 years is Rs 14410, find the value of ‘x’. (3)

6) The sum of three consecutive terms of G.P. is 1110. If the third and first term are in
proportion of 100:1, find the terms. (3)

7) A shopkeeper counts 128 toys in the first hour and there after he counts half the
number of toys he counted in the previous hours. How many toys he would count
in 5 hours? (2)
