Notes: (1) Required thickness is the calculated thickness required by the applicable code to
withstand the design conditions + corrosion allowance + manufacturing tolerances.
The calculation is valid for pipes, elbows, caps, reductions with L = 3*(Do-do) where Do is
the outer diameter at the large end, do is the outer diameter of the small end and L is the
length of the reduction.
(2) Factor 0,7 corresponds to 0 % NDT, factor 1,0 corresponds to 100 % NDT.
(3) Pipes can be used for full vacuum up to a temperature of 50 °C.
