3. Graphic design
My project will help me cultivate these TP Student Profile attributes (choose at least three)

Give reasons how you can develop each of these chosen attributes
Attribute 1 (Self-directed) : I believe this project will help me develop the attribute of
being self-directed as Guided learning (GL) is a module that encourages self directed
learning whereby I will be taking charge of my own targets, processes and results.
Attribute 2 (Digital & information literate) : The nature of my project is a research based
one which would require the processing and analysing of a lot of data, be it first or
second hand data. I believe this will help to hone my skills of being information literate
by teaching me how to effectively evaluate and use the information I have gathered.
Furthermore, one of my main goals is to learn about graphic design which is a skill that I
will most likely be learning online and hence will contribute towards being digitally
literate
Attribute 3 (Character and Citizenship) : The main motivation behind this project is to
create awareness and destigmatise mental illness. I believe that throughout this journey I
will be interacting with many people from different walks of life all in an attempt to
better society by educating and enhancing the quality of life, hence building my
character and citizenship.
Brief Description of Raise awareness on how mental illness in youth is a real issue that is easily overlooked by the community
Learning Project: Address the issue at hand and how to help youth with mental illness as well as publicise the different outlets
that youth can go to for therapy et cetera. Drive across the point that mental illness is an issue that should be
talked about and discussed, hence destigmatising it.
