Mosque is a place where the Muslims gather to perform their prayers (Salah) and the other
religious-related activities. Despite the function for religious activities, mosques also serve as
attraction places for tourists. Regards as one of the most beautiful mosque in the world, Crystal
Mosque is an attractive place to be visited. The mosque is distinctive from the other mosques due to
the unusual features of the structure.

The first interesting fact about the mosque is the location. The mosque placed at a very
strategic place. Situated at the river bank of Terengganu’s River, the mosque can both seen from
trips through the river by boats and from the roads as one pass through the Sultan Mahmud’s
Bridge. The spot is within the Islamic Heritage Park at Wan Man’s Island, which also consists of
monument of mosques and other constructions such as al-Haram Mosque of Mecca and the Prophet
Mosque of Medina. The location is not far away from the main city, the Kuala Terengganu City.
Approximately, it is only 5 kilometres away from the main city and is easily accessible by the public
transports. Depends on your preference, you can opt between the road transports or the water
transports. For water transport, you can go for the water taxi or locally known as “bot penambang”
that take off from Syahbandar’s Jetty in Kuala Terengganu or the Seberang Takir’s Jetty. If you prefer
the road trips, you can opt between taxi drive from the taxi terminal in the city that take about 15
