Allana’s project has been previously explored. The US-based Parsons potash company drilled
nearly 300 drill holes from 1958-1967 and even sank a shaft to conduct underground mining.

Ethiopia – Strong Economic Growth and Attractive Investment Climate

The Ethiopian government is strongly supportive of mining

initiatives in the country. Allana’s relationship with the Ethiopian
government is very strong and will greatly assist rapid
advancement of the project.

Ethiopia is the oldest independent country in Africa. The

macro-economic environment has been stable, experiencing
double-digit growth since 2003. Most major economic sectors
have been liberalized. Government guarantees as stated in
Ethiopia’s Investment Code (1991) are provided to foreign
investors, in addition to providing constitutional protection
from expropriation. Ethiopia is a member of the Multilateral
Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) and the Convention on
the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and
Nationals of Other States.

Farhad Abasov, M.B.A., President, CEO & Director
Mr. Abasov possesses a solid track record of building successful
resource companies in the potash, uranium, and energy sectors.
Most recently Mr. Abasov served as Senior Vice President of
Potash One, and Vice President for Uranium One. Mr. Abasov
was formerly a member of the Energy Metals management team
which was sold to Uranium One for $1.8 Billion in 2007.
Peter MacLean, PhD, P.Geo, Senior Vice President, Exploration
Over 20 years experience in the mining & exploration industry with
junior and senior mining companies including Monarch Resources,
Aur Resources and Newmont Mining.
Nejib Abba Biya, Senior Vice President, Business Development
Over 20 years of experience conducting business in Ethiopia,
excellent working relations with the federal and regional
governments.
Richard Lacroix, Senior Advisor
Former Senior Vice President , Potash Corp of Saskatchewan,
former Board Member of Canpotex, and former Chairman of
Canpotex Bulk Terminals, 30 years with PCS.
Dr. Mark Stauffer, Director
Dr. Stauffer has over 30 years of experience in the potash industry.
He is the former President of the Potash and Phosphate Institute
of Canada, and former Senior Vice President of International
Programs, at the Potash and Phosphate Institute.
Dr. Stauffer currently serves on the board of Migao Corporation, a
China based specialty potash producer listed on the Toronto Stock
Exchange.
