I hope you are all settling in to the new teaching session and continuing to enjoy the online
learning experience. Below are important updates. I’ve highlighted upcoming events you may
wish to consider.

Commuting on public transport

If you are travelling to University on public transport, please ensure you take steps to protect
yourself and others, and continue to practise physical distancing along with good personal
hygiene. Plan ahead, and if possible, avoid travelling during peak times. Transport for NSW is
encouraging users of public transport to wear a face mask where physical distancing is not
possible. If you are feeling unwell, please stay at home.

For more information about public transport and COVID-19, including how to check the capacity
of your service before boarding, please visit the NSW Government’s COVID-19: Travel advice
and information webpage.

Cases update

I’m pleased to advise that the University has had no further reports of COVID-19 among our staff
or students since my last update.

Please continue to look after your health, and check the latest news and updates from the NSW
Government. If you are directed to self-isolate or are being tested for COVID-19, please contact
the University’s Coronavirus Support Hotline to advise of this, so the University can support
you.
