WHAT IS COMMUNICATION?
Communication from the latinterm “communis” which means to shareand inform ideas,
feelings, etc.
- It is the act of transmitting intended meanings from entity or group to another through the
use of mutually understood signs and semotic rules.
It is the process of sharing and conveying message or information from one person to another
within and across channels, context, media, and cultures (McCornack, 2014)
- Is the exchange of verbal messages with the employment of non-verbal cues such as
tone of voice, bodily actions, eye communication and others.
