The Technical Review Committee (TRC) conducts all

matters related to the BEAM rating tools to specific
building assessments, including:
•manage the development and
•upgrade BEAM rating tools,
•manage a team of BEAM Expert Panels,
•monitor the quality of assessments.

Technical Review Committee (TRC)

Functions:
A. Technical and certification
• Assign assessors to BEAM Plus project assessments
• Endorse Provisional and Final assessments for issuing of certificates by HKGBC
• Process credit interpretations
• Establish rulings to exceptional cases
• Undertake the First Appeal

B. Assessor Practices
• Monitor and maintain the quality of the assessments by the assessors
• Review the performance of assessors

C. Development
• Collect information and rulings for future development of BEAM Plus
• Update the current BEAM Plus and develop new versions
