• Spent 15 hours a week creating itineraries and planning the logistics for families traveling to Los
Angeles
• Met wish children at the airport upon arrival to help families with rental cars and hotel
reservations
• Escorted wish children and their families on wish experiences
• Interviewed children about their desired wish

2010
• Spent 5 weeks in Vlahita, Romania working is a children’s home for abandoned children
• Planned summer camp like activities for children in the home
• Mentored and provided guidance to a group of children lacking proper role models

• Spent 5 week in Arusha, Tanzania working with the Arusha Project
• The Arusha Project focuses on gender equality and aiding women and children affected by AIDS

• Worked with the Arusha Project’s micro finance program doing site visits and creating

• Wrote a research paper after the experience on the AIDS epidemic and its impact on women
