MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES

I. BIBLE QUIZ
 Each level is entitled to only one team of three members.
 Each item will be provided an illustration board, eraser, chalk and scrap paper.
 Time limit will vary for each question.
 The final answer of the team should be written in an illustration board.
 The quiz master will read each question twice.
 In case of tie, clincher questions will be asked until the tie is broken.
 Misspelled and incomplete answers are wrong.
 Each participants will be given a different categories as follows: persons, book of the bible, general
information, places and events.

The bible quiz is divide into 3 levels as follows:

II. BIBLE DRILL

 Each team must have 2 representatives (1 boy and 1 girl).
 Each representative will be provided with common bible.
 No time limits.
 The contestants should make three steps forward and present to the watcher his/her answer.
 The first contestant to present the correct verse will get the point of each item.
 The drillmaster will read each item twice.
 In case of a tie, tie-breaking item will be used.
III. Interpretative Dance
 Each team must have a minimum of 10-12 representatives for the competition.
 This competition is designed for each entry to tell a story revolving around the theme through
dancing.
 The performance shall not exceed 5 minutes; this includes the actual performance, entrance and exit
of dancers, setting up of props (if any) and the like.
 Each group will be given a music entitled “ Here as in Heaven “
 The judge decision is final.

Criteria:
 Concept and interpretation 40%
 Choreography and Execution 30%
 Costume 10%
 Stage Presence 20%
Total: 100%
IV. GOSPEL NATIONALISTIC CHOIR
 Each team must have a minimum of 10 and maximum of 15 representatives for the competition.
 Each group will be given a music entitled “ Safe by Victory Worship and What A Beautiful Name by
Hillsong Worship”
 Each team must have humming.
 Instruments and minus one is STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED.
 The judge decision is final.

Criteria:
 Voice Quality 25 %
 Tonality 25 %
 Expression and group interaction/style 15 %
 Diction and Clarity of Voice 15 %
 Stage Presence 20 %
Total: 100%
V. GROUP PUZZLE
 Each team must have 5 representatives.
 Each member will be given a task to do.
 Each level will have 1 verse of the Bible to be memorize and arranged (Note: On the spot)
 Each representative will be given 3 minutes to finish the entire task given by the coordinator.
 The materials will be provided by the coordinator
 The winning team will be determined according to their correctness and quickness
Rules of the Game
1. Each level must have at least 1 representative.
2. Swapping or change of place is not allowed.
3. The Bible to be use must be uniform. (NIV BIBLE)
4. Giving the answer or cheating is not allowed.
5. The decision of the judge is final
VI. SPOKEN POETRY
1. Each level must have 2 representative( 1 boy and 1 girl)
2. The decision is designed for each entry to have a spoken word poetry revolving around the
theme. (Note: Tagalog Version)
3. The performance shall not exceed (5) minutes, this includes the actual performance, entrance
and exit of performers.
4. The judge decision is final.

Criteria:
 Relevance to the theme 25 %
 Mastery 25 %
 Stage Presence 20 %
 Diction and Clarity of the Voice 20%
 Costume 10 %
