areas of hydro-electric projects managing H&M activities with control & bar
charts, small schedules (activity wise) , Planning & control of progress ,site

Project: Solu Hydro Power Pvt. Ltd (82 MW), Nepal Role as a Deputy Manager
(Hydro Mechanical)
 Daily coordination meeting with Contractor about project schedule and
progress.
 Developed Workshop for development and production of ferrules and gates at
site with limited and controlled Re- sources.
 Material clearance with all transportation policies between India and Nepal
border and have proper loop to trace material at site for achieve the project
schedule on the time.
 Maintain all Quality measures with proper coordination Design in between
Contractor and client Engineer to avoid any interference and smooth run of the
activities.
 Have attend lender’s visit with all proper technical and EHS aspects.
Project: Maithon dam Damodar Valley Corporation (62 MW) Greyhound Engineers India pvt. Ltd., l Role as a
Project Manager (Hydro Mechanical)

 Coordination with various Agencies Like as – Client, CWC, World Bank regarding project progress and status.
 Material management and planning for the activities as Procurement, Erection, Quality etc.
 Local Liaising work with different agencies on the behalf of company.
 Billing work and Preparation and further claim’s towards the extra work with the client.
 Developed Workshop for development and production work at site with limited and controlled Re- sources.

Fabrication of Penstock Ferules & Appurtenances
 Fabrication of Penstock Ferrules Dia.5500mm using ASTM 537 (Class – 1) and ASTM 517 Grade F
plates.
 Fabrication of Transition Pipes, Bends, Manholes & Reducers.
 Development of Bends, Reducer and Transition Pipes using AutoCAD.
 Familiar with welding procedures & Welder Performance Qualification test (WPQ) according to
ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Section IX.
 Hydro testing.
Welding Inspections & Erection of Penstock Liners at Site
 Responsible for the erection of Penstock Liners at Pressure Shaft.
 Joint fit-up controls that include checking of proper root gaps, bevel angles and cleanliness of joints.
 Controls of joint pre-heating temperatures.
 Controls of joint pre- heating, interpass and post –heating temperature for ASTM517 Grade F.
 Execution of DP-Tests of roots after welding root runs.
 Interpass inspections of welds.
 Control of proper interpass temperatures.
 Final inspections of welds after completion.

2nd Stage EP’s Erection Inspections of all Hydro-Mechanical Works

 Erection of Bonneted Slide Emergency Gate with Flap Gate.
 Erection of Vertical and Radial Gates.
 Engaged in Quality Assurance / Inspections of components 0f 2nd Stage Embedded Parts (EP’s) of
all Stop logs at Dam Site and Power House.
 Erection of Surge Shaft Fixed Wheel Gate and its hoisting structure.
 Inspection of 1st Stage EP’s at Power House.
 Responsible for making all Measurement Sheets and Approvals.
 Regular interaction with Lahmeyer International GmbH, Germany, Engineer in Charge of the project.
