RapidCure UW is a two-component, 100% solids, epoxy polyamine coating that exhibits excellent adhesion and resistance to water, chemicals, salts, and oil. It can be applied underwater using a brush or mitt and remains unaffected when submerged in seawater. RapidCure UW cures even at low temperatures, making it suitable for application directly to sweating pipes or surfaces with standing water. Typical uses include coating of structural steel, concrete, and other substrates in industries such as chemical manufacturing, oil and gas production and pipelines.

SURFACE PREPARATION Distributed by:
Solvent cleaning as per SSPC SP1. Please refer to RapidCure for specifics of surface preparation suitable for underwater, immersion and atmospheric exposure areas.
In harsh environments such as C4M or C4I (ISO 12944), it is highly
recommended to conduct soluble salt test to identify presence of Chloride Salts. Soluble salt, if any, shall be less than 20µg/cm2. - Please consult your Axial Group sales representative for any technical clarifications or recommendations -
