Spoiled soil must be 3 feet away from the edge of the excavation.
Take breaks if feeling faint or overexerted
Consume adequate food/beverages (water, sports drinks)
Provide prope training, tool box talks regardinng heat stress.
Provide temporary shelter
Provide Hygrometer for continuous monitoring of temperatue and humidity
If possible, adjust work schedule based on heat index eruirements.

Wear appropriate PPE including high visibility clothing such as reflective vest
Post No Smoking signs around work area
Provide fire extinguisher and fire watchman. Isolate the area, secure the existing facilities.
Stop work if hazardous conditions (explosive atmosphere) are identified
