I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

A. Recall how to construct background of the study and statement of the problem;
B. Observe strictly their research’s background of the study through group activity; and
C. Construct background of the study and statement of the problem.

II. Subject Matter:

a. Topic: Background of the study and Statement of the Problem
b. Materials:PPT, whiteboard marker, eraser, excerpts text
c. Reference(s): Research or Capstone Project Curriculum Guide

III. Procedure:
a. Preliminaries
 Prayer
 Arrange Chair & Pick-up some littered trash
 Attendance

b. Activity
The students will go to their respective group.
Checking of background of the study.
c. Analysis
The teacher will entertain questions about constructing background and statement of the problem.

d. Abstraction
The teacher will check their statement of the problem for corrections.

e. Application
The students will check all the corrections.
IV. Evaluation
The students will construct another statement of the problem and the teacher will make sure that it
is correct and final.

V. Assignment (Group)
Pass your statement of the problem and background of the study.
