IV. PROCEDURES
The learners will read the introduction part in their module for them to prepare
themselves on what they need to know and do.
What’s new?
LET’S DO TOGETHER
A. Introduction
The learners define the following terms based on their own definition and
understanding:
a. Designing PCB;
b. Etching PCB;
c. Boring PCB;
What I know?
The learners will answer the following questions found in their module in
order to find out what they already know about the topics to be discussed
in the self-made module.
A. Designing a PCB
-Cover the copper side of the copper clad using masking tape
-Draw/Lay-out the given design on the surface of the masking tape using
pencil
B. Development -Cut the un-shaded part of the masking tape using cutter
-Clean the copper side of the copper clad
-Prepare the tools and materials needed
B. Etching PCB
What’s in?
The learners will read the content of the topic in assembling Printed
Circuit Board on their Module.
If they have an internet connection, the learners watch the video on how to
make/assemble Printed Circuit Board using the link given.
https://youtu.be/mv7Y0A9YeUc
Based on the video, The learners will answer the follow-up questions:
After reading the content of the topic covered in the module, the learners will
assemble their own PCB by following the processes and step by step procedure.
What’s more?
The learners will perform the activities indicated in the module.
Link: https://youtu.be/ie7hUKlCzO4
C. Engagement
The learners will demonstrate their ideas and gained knowledge on how to apply
the learning on their daily living and give some importance of PCB assembling in
building electronics products.
II. Find the different tools and materials that use in assembling PCB. Mark it using
clear marker or ballpen.
B. Assimilation
They may check their answer using the Key to Correction at the back of
their module.
III. Assemble your own PCB using the given design on the module. The tasks will
be graded according to the following criteria.
Note: Ask your parents to assists you in this activity and take a picture of
you together with your parents and put it in your portfolio.
The learners will take pictures on their output and paste in their individual
portfolio and write their insights on the activity using the statement below.
