Give at least 3 examples of discrete and continuous variable and explain each
to the class.

Determine whether discrete or continuous random variable.
1. The amount of water in the container.
2. The height of the tree.
3. The number of books in the library.
4. The total number of employees in the municipal.
5. The amount of electricity consumed in the house.

1. How do you describe random variable?
2. How did you know that a random variable is continuous or discrete?
3. What is the difference between continuous and discrete random variable?
