Experiment Name: - Study on Different Types of

Seam (Type-1, 2, 3)

Introduction: Seam is an art of sewing technology it is the stitch

combination which motes line to connect two fabric ply.Used as
technical intention and decoration
Noun: - a line where the two pieces of fabric is seam together in a
garment or other art etc.
Verb: - join with a seam

Synonyms:-
 Noun : suture, joint , score
 Verb : sew

Objective of seams:
· Define the structure and features of the stitch type.
· Identify and use seam forms.
· Relate the land,output, standard of scam results
· Examine the sewing threads and needles work, characteristics and
availability.
· Investigate the bond between the thread of needles and the cloth.
• Seam appearance and performance of analysis

Classification: Sow-end cloth configurations are called seam

styles.They are split down into the following types
Uses:
 Appears inside likea shirt and parts.
 Caller andsewing of the cuff.
 Caller and top sewing collar.
 Add binding and top stitching to the caller chain.
 Side seam and allow delicate stitches connect

Working process:
 Split two cloth bits similar to A and B.
 Combine two bract tact fabrics and leave 1 cam space.

Lapped seam: This form of same is machined over lapping

each other with two or more pieces of cloth.The cloth uses two hem ends

Used:

Working process:

Bound Seam: A connected seam is one piece of cloth that crosses

Uses:
 T-shirt joint neckline in the middle of the top attached under the
frame.
 Top top middle.

 Piped seam

Working process:
 Cut two bits of silk by A and B and one slice of lace by c.
 Put 1 fabric and keep 1⁄2 cm of seam allowance to stitch the
fabric straight
 Fold through the middle line the third one.
 Insert the previous stitched fabric into the third fabric and make
the top stitch along the edge.

Conclusion: I've finished the assignment that will support me a ton

with the proper information regarding seam class: 1, 2, 3. I look forward
to fully constructing the surface

Experiment Name: - Study on Different Types of seam (Type – 4, 5, 6).
Introduction: Seam is the combinations of stitch wish make line to join
two ply of fabric.

Flat Seam: Flat seams are built by having two pieces of fabric
exactly meet their edges. The thickness of seams is lower corporately.
Can be produced with zig-zog

Uses:

 Intensively used in under garments in weapon wears

 Sweat shirt seam
 Seam of clothing support, etc.

Decorative Seam: - Within one or more layers of cloth this sort of

seam makes one or more aeljaeets stitch lines.
Sewing by several needles is included.

 Uses:
 Used of trousers or other clothes.
 Aside from the joining point, it may be used elsewhere on the
garments.
 Designed for cosmetic use

Edge Neatening: That way, seam is produced under this class.Now

that the fabric finishes off cutting. Are not permitted to fall out during
operation.Can be widely used. This can be rendered by m / c overlock.

Remarks: - Even if this work is challenging but not impossible to
