Simple introduction
Two of the commonly used article in English Grammar are a and an.
These are used before a singular noun that they describe whether in a phrase or in a
sentence.
We use a before a singular that begins with a consonant sound.
We use an before a singular noun that begins with a vowel sound.

abstract ideas.

The articles a and an are placed before singular nouns or before describing words.
The article a, specifically is used before words that start with consonant sounds (b, c,
d, f, g, h, j, k, l, m, n, p, q, r, s, t, v, w, x, y, and z.
Examples:

(a, e, I, o, u).
