The external SPD is designed to provide surge protection to hybrid DC and fibre cabling close to the point
where DC cable exits the shelter. It also provides a suitable junction point at the shelter or cabinet for
separation of the DC and fibre and connection of DC power.

Designed around an IP54 rated enclosure for external mounting.

This unit is available in in 2 standard colour options:

 Paperbark - ENM0003PB (pictured above on the left) use PB prefix
 Pale Eucalypt - ENM0003PE use PE prefix

OVERVIEW
Designed to provide surge protection to a facility using hybrid DC and fibre cable, whilst also providing a
suitable junction point at the shelter or cabinet.

Incorporating Erico DSD140-3BR-24/48V 3 mode MOV modules, 48V-DC rated circuit breakers and Eriflex
terminals, this product provides protection as used in Telecommunication shelters previously. The unit has
been designed for simplicity and ease of cabling with cable management in mind.
