Radio Drama

Guidelines and Mechanics

 Each group shall create a radio drama (creative adaptation) of any of the 21 st century literary piece from the
world.
 The 21st century literary pieces should be published in printed or electronic version from 2000 onwards.
 The duration of the radio drama is 10-30 minutes only.
 The language to be used is Iloco.
 The content of the radio drama: 1) Station ID, 2) Introduction of the Story by the Announcer, 3) Dramatic scenes,
4) At least 2 commercial breaks, 5) Closing Statement by the Announcer and 6) Credits.
 Each group shall also prepare a script in printed form (Short Bond Paper/Portrait).
 The use of profane language and sexually explicit material is prohibited.
 The credits should mention the following:
1. Original literary piece and its author
2. Subject/Course
3. Director
4. Scriptwriter
5. Sound and music editor
6. Cast members (in order of appearance)
 The criteria for evaluating the radio drama:
1. Creative Adaptation – 15%
2. Dramatic Interaction – 15%
3. Sound and Music Quality – 10%
4. Scriptwriting – 10%
 The radio drama should be rendered in mp3 format.
 Both the audio file and the script should be passed on or before October 14, 2019.
