Section one

HARDWARE
Villa Door Stations

12V Powered locally or 24V PoE via Hikvision PoE distributor unit – DS-KAD6XX or 24V PoE
switch / injector

Latest version firmware ver 1.4.71 – VIS 18 LPT1

Door Stations

DS-KD8012-V or DS-KD8002-VM D – Series. Multi user door station – Apartments

12V Powered locally. Minimum 15W PSU – 2Amp

Door Stations

DS-KB8112-IM Vandal Resistant Door Station

12V Powered locally or 48V PoE – Any 48V PoE switch

Latest version firmware ver 1.4.5 – Only one version of firmware at the moment. Upgrade not required.
Indoor stations

DS-KV8301-WT or DS-KV8301-T (no Wi-Fi)

Section two

PROGRAMMING
Software required

SADP(v3.0.0.10) & iVMS(v2.6.2.50 *special intercom version*)

Step 1 - Activation

Activate both units – door station and monitor. Please skip activation on
screen with DS-KH8301-WT. Recommended to activate via iVMS and
assign IP address, subnet mask with gateway according to the router.
Step 2 - iVMS

Add devices to iVMS  Device Management

Step 2a

After correct user name and password devices should

appear on top section of iVMS with serial number and
green indicator on Net status section.
Step 3 - Firmware

Configuration - Door station Villa type DS-KV (1 Door to 1 monitor system)

Device management  Remote Configuration

Check the version of firmware and upgrade to the latest version of firmware
1.4.71
Step 4 – Time settings

After rebooting door station, please set up time. Select the time zone.
We can use one of the NTP servers or just sync with PC.
Step 5 – Room number

Set up the Room number as 1. (Unsupported intercoms version of iVMS

will not allow you put number 1 and need to use 101)
Step 5a

In case we have Door station with 2 or 4 Buttons. We have address other

buttons with correct room’s numbers. Number 2 to Room No 2 etc.
Step 6 - Volume

At that stage with system 1 to 1 our door station configuration is finished. If the
volume is too loud or too quiet you can adjust volume in section
IntercomVolume input/output
Step 6a – Conversation length

Or change time conversation parameters. IntercomTime parameters

Step 7 – Indoor station

Configuration Indoor Station - Monitor (1 to 1 system) Device management  Remote Configuration

Check the version of firmware and upgrade to the latest version of firmware 1.4.71

The same procedure as Door station (STEP 3). After reboot indoor station please set up time. Select the time
zone the same like with Door station

Set up the Room number as 1. (Unsupported intercoms version of iVMS which not allows you put number 1

Step 7a - Network

NetworkLinked Network Configuration

Set up linked IP of the door station. (Main) Door Station IP Address (192.168.1.120 in our case) and change
Main Door Station Type to V series (Villa)
Step 8

If all the setting are correct on display of indoor station red icon with Door Station should change colour to
grey and should display – SIP!

At that stage our 1 to 1 system should up and running with basic configuration.
Step 9 – Hik Connect

In case system will be online and customer will be require forwards calls to mobile we have create account
on Hik-connect app and add indoor station to created account. Details required we can find on screen of
indoor station. SettingsMaintenance

Num: 9 digit serial number

Psw: 6 letters verification code

Password to settings on screen of indoor station is – 123456 or 888999 (depend of version of firmware)
Step 9a

We can program the delay time of forwarding call.

PROGRAMMING DOOR STATION EXTENSIONS (Up to 8).

We can program up 8 additional entry points in Hikvision IP intercoms. To make our second door station
additional entry point we need to change ID of our door station from 0 to 1 or 2 etc. And reboot door station.

Step 10a

After that our door station change to sub door station and in the Linked Network Configuration we have to
assign (Main) Door Station IP Address.

After that we should have 2 (or more) Door Stations calling to the same Indoor Station
Step 11

PROGRAMMING INDOOR STATION EXTENSIONS (Up to 5).

We can program up to 5 indoor station extensions linked to main indoor station. It’s mean we could have 6
indoor stations calling the same time from door station.

Step 11a

After the reboot Indoor station will change to extension of the main Indoor station.
Last setting will be link our Station Extension with main Indoor Station.
NetworkLinked Network Configuration

After that red icon with Station should change to Green on Indoor station extension. Procedure is the same
for additional Station Extensions. Only changing the number - No: 2
APPENDIX A

Programming Vandal resistant door station DS-KB8112-IM

Following the steps 1 to 3 on programming Villa door station. This door station working on firmware 1.4.5. This firmware is not fully
compatible with latest indoor station firmware 1.4.71. Problem is the live view request on indoor station – delay approx. 10 to 15
seconds. To avoid delay need to downgrade (or upgrade) to previous version of firmware of indoor station 1.4.70. -That
firmware to fully apply required restore default setting after upgrade the firmware and reboot the indoor station

After that we following configuration for indoor station.

This door station have a build web server which is allow access to programing settings via browser. We can access to
additional features of this door station. For example we can program the relay unlock duration. Villa door station and indoor
station or KD apartment station are not accessible via browser.
