    REGISTRATION FEES FOR REGISTRATION OF DOCUMENTS

    a) If the amount or value of the consideration or the market value of


    property to which such instrument relates, is wholly expressed therein;

    On amount/value
    whichever is higher

    when the amount or market


    value, whichever is higher, --- 2%
    does not exceed ₹50 lakhs.

    when the amount or market


    value, whichever is higher,
    exceed ₹50 lakhs but does --- 3%
    not exceed ₹75 lakhs.

    when the amount or market


    value, whichever is higher,
    exceed ₹75 lakhs but does not --- 3.5%
    exceed ₹100 lakhs.

    when the amount or market


    value, whichever is higher, --- 4%
    exceeds ₹100 lakhs.

    b) If such amount or value is only partly expressed, the same ad valorem fee
    as above on the amount or market value, whichever is higher, which is
    expressed, and an additional fee of ₹100/-.

    c) If such amount or market value is not expressed at all, a fixed fee of


    ₹500/-.
