Navigating Guide for Teachers

Video Conferencing Tools

A. Zoom

1. If you are an android user, download app in play store. If you are an
iphone user, download app store. If you use a computer, you may
also download the app to see it faster on the desktop.
2. Sign up using your Gmail account.
3. If you will set a scheduled meeting, click SCHEDULE then answer
the needed information.
4. If you will send an invitation, click MEETINGS, click send invitation
then choose whether on gmail, mail, messages, or messenger. Then
they will receive the invitation with link.
5. After sending the invitation you may now start the meeting, click
again MEETINGS, click start.
6. Wait for the students/parents to join. To admit them, click
participants (lower part) then you may now start your
meeting/discussion.

Google Classroom

A. Creating class
1. Click the + in the upper right side of the computer/cp
2. Click Create class.
3. Fill out the class name, section and most specially the subject.
4. Send the class code to your students for them to enter your
class.

B. How to Post an Announcement

1. Go to Google Classroom.
2. Click the class where you will post an announcement
3. Click the word stream.
4. Then click next share with your class. Now, you may
type your announcement.
C. How to Post a Classwork
1. Go to Google Classroom.
2. Click Classwork.
3. At the top, click create then choose what kind of classwork you
will do.
4. After you choose what classwork, a new tab will open, click it
and start making the content of the classwork.
5. No need to save, go directly to the classroom and fill out the
necessary information in settings located at the right side.
6. Click the arrow down of the file and click MAKE A COPY FOR
EACH STUDENT.
7. If everything is done, click ASSIGN to post the classwork.

A. How to Join a Zoom Meeting


1. Download zoom in your mobile phone or personal computer.
2. Sign up with your Gmail account.
3. Once your teacher sent an invitation, just click the link.
4. Wait until you teacher/host accepts you.
5. Once accepted, turn on your camera and mute your audio.

B. How to Join Google Classroom


1. Get your STMS account from your adviser.
2. Open the given account in Gmail and immediately change your
password.
3. Download Google Classroom in a mobile phone/ go to
classroom.google.com in computer.
4. Using your STMS ACCOUNT sign up as a student.

C. Join a Class
1. Click the + in the upper right side of the computer/cp.
2. Click Join Class.
3. Ask your teacher for the class code.
4. Enter the class code.

D. How to see teacher’s posted announcement/classwork


1. Go to Google Classroom
2. Click stream
3. All posted announcement/classwork are in here.
