Army Special Rules
Primaeval Savagery
At the start of each combat round, units with models with the Primeval Savagery special rule must take a Leadership test. If
the test if passed, parts of models in the unit with Primeval Savagery may reroll failed to hit rolls during this combat round.

Slaughterer
As long as a model with this Special Rule has Frenzy, all models in the same unit as it have Frenzy and can't benefit from
Primaeval Savagery

Brewer
If a model with this Special Rule is deployed in a unit of Centaurs, you may reroll the result of the Drinker table for that
Centaur unit. A model with this Special Rule benefits from the same Drinker's effects (if any) as the unit he is currently in.

Drinker
A unit with this Special Rule gets a different benefit each game, depending on which liquor has it drank. After deployment,
roll a D6 and apply to the unit it the corresponding result. If you have several Drinker units, roll separately for each one
1-2: The unit has Initiative 10
3-4: The unit has Devastating Charge
5-6: The unit has +1 Movement and Immune to Psychology

Thunderous Charge
When charging, part of models with this special rule receive a +1 Strength bonus
Armory
Close Combat Weapons
Centaur Spear
+2 Strength when charging.

Mutations
Minotaur Warlords, Minotaur Chieftains, Beast Warlords, Beast Chieftains and Centaur Chieftains can buy up to one
Mutation each from the list below. Mutations are not Magic Items but are part of a model's equipment. Mutation may not
be duplicated.
Massive Tusks 25 pt
Wearer has Impact Hits (1) and Armour Piercing (1).
Unnatural Metamorphosis 75 pt
Wearer has Regeneration (4+) and +1 Toughness.
Lord of Bulls 35 pt
If the wearer is the General, Minotaurs count as Core choices instead of Special.
Father of Centaurs 35 pt
Centaur Chieftains only. The model has +1 Ld. If the wearer is the General, Centaurs count as Core choices instead of
Special.
Horns of a True Beast 45 pt
Wearer is Stubborn.
Scaly Hide 25 pt
Wearer has Scaly Skin (5+).
Hellish Mead 40 pt
Beast Warlord only. The wearer and any unit he joins during deployment have the Drinker special rule (roll once on the
Drinker chart and apply the same result to both unit and character). The unit will only benefit from the Drinker's effects if
the model with Hellish Mead is in the unit.
Bestial Planning 10 pt
Beast Warlords and Beast Chieftains on foot only .Wearer has Ambush. After deployment, if the wearer and at least one
other unit is ambushing, you may declare that the wearer is joining an ambushing unit (and which unit). When rolling to
see if ambushing units arrive, don’t roll for the character, instead roll single dice for the unit he has joined. This dice may be
rerolled. If they arrive, deploy the character joined to the unit.
Magic items
Primeval Mace 75 pt
Magic Weapon. Type: Great weapon. Saves (of any kind) cannot be taken against Attacks made with the weapon.
The Beast Banner 75 pt
Magic Banner. The bearer and his unit have +1 Strength.
Hunter's Spear 50 pt
Magic Weapon. Type: Spear. Armour Piercing (1)
The Hunter's Spear can be shot using the rules for Bolt Thrower Artillery Weapons: Range 18”, Strength 6, Heart-Seeking*,
Armour Piercing (6), Multiple Wounds (D3)
*Heart Seeking: Shots fired by the Hunting Spear don't suffer any To Hit modifier.
Fragment of the Dark Forest 50 pt
Enchanted Item. At the end of your first Movement Phase, the wearer may place a Dark Forest (on a 5" round base) with
its centre 6" or less away from the wearer. All friendly Wizards within 6" of this Dark Forest add D3 to their Casting Rolls.
Banner of Corrosion 50 pt
Magic Banner. All units within 6" of a unit with this banner (friend or foe, including unit itself) have -2 Armour Save.
Goat Staff 40 pt
Arcane Item. Bound Spell, Power Level 4. Contains the spell Swarm of Insects (Path of Wild).
Horn Helm 25 pt
Magic Armour. Type: Helmet (6+ armour save). For every successful armour save, the wearer can immediately makes one
additional attack.
The Black Heart 20 pt
Enchanted Item. The bearer and his unit have Swiftstride.
Hag Doll 20 pt
Arcane Item. At the beginning of each friendly magic phase, you may nominate an enemy unit within 24”. Hits with a
Strength value may reroll failed To Wound rolls this phase.
Rune of The Beast 15 pt
Talisman. War beasts, Monstrous Beasts, Monsters, Swarms, Cavalry mounts, Monstrous Cavalry mounts, Chariot beasts
and Ridden Monster mounts suffer a -3 To Hit penalty against the bearer. Crew and riders are unaffected.

wizard has a -1 modifier to his casting rolls during this magic phase.

Giant Attacks: When a giant attacks in close combat, choose a unit in base contact to attack, and roll on the chart below
depending on the unit's troop type )(note that this counts as a close combat attack and is affected by the rules affecting
close combat attacks). The Giant may still make his Stomp as normal

Infantry, War Beast, Swarm, War Machine, Cavalry:


1: Yell and Brawl
2: Jump Up and Down
3: Pick Up and Throw
4-6: Swing with Club

Monstrous Beast, Monstrous Infantry, Monstrous Cavalry, Monster, Ridden Monster, Chariot:
1: Yell and Brawl
2-3: Thump with Club
4-6: Headbutt

Yell and Brawl: Neither the giant nor the chosen unit can make any close combat attack this phase. Attacks already done
(including those simultaneously with this attack) aren't affected. The Giant's side automatically wins the combat by 2. If
two (or more) opposing Giants “Yell and Brawl”, the combat is a draw

Jump Up and Down: The chosen unit suffers D6 hits with the Giant's Strength, carried out as if it were a Grinding Attack.
The Giant must take a Dangerous Terrain test

Pick Up and Throw: Chose a model from the chosen unit in base contact with the Giant. This model takes a Strength and
Weapon Skill test. For each failed test, the model suffers a hit with the Giant's Strength and Multiple Wounds (D3).

Swing with Club: The Giant makes 2D6 attacks on the chosen unit.

Thump with club: Chose a model from the chosen unit in base contact with the Giant. This model takes a Initiative test. If
the is failed, the model suffers 2D6 wounds with Armour Piercing (6).

Headbutt: Chose a model from the chosen unit in base contact with the Giant. This model suffers 1 wound with Armour
Piercing (6). If the model has not yet attacked it cannot attack in this round. It the model has already attacked, it cannot
attack in the next player turn.
MOUNTS
The Mounts section is for character mounts. Non-character mounts follow the rules given under their respective entries.
