TEST METHODOLOGY OF THE KIT

„ Test kit is based on Molecular Diagnostics which is much more

accurate than Immuno Assay
„ Molecular Diagnostics uses a human gene to diagnose diseases
„ When China and South Korea changed to Molecular Diagnostic
testing instead of Immuno Assay, the results of the infected population
changed dramatically
„ Each test kit package costs $1500 and contains enough individual kits
to test 100 patients resulting in a cost of $15 per patient.
LAB BASED PCR MACHINES
The thermal cycler (also known as a thermocycler, PCR machine or DNA amplifier) is
a laboratory apparatus most commonly used to amplify segments of DNA via the
polymerase chain reaction (PCR).[1] Thermal cyclers may also be used in laboratories
to facilitate other temperature-sensitive reactions, including restriction enzyme
digestion or rapid diagnostics. The device has a thermal block with holes where
tubes holding the reaction mixtures can be inserted. The cycler then raises and
lowers the temperature of the block in discrete, pre-programmed steps.
