Don't believe the hype about solid carved jazz guitars. This is all you need.

I just snagged a new 2015 for a blowout price (less than half) at a popular Chicago store. (Not sure
I'm encouraged to say more here). Apparently they bought a buttload of them from Gibson, and are
trickling them into the market.
I just compared each spec listed on this page, and the equivalent 2015 page, and the ONLY
difference I come up with is the added use of hide glue, on adirondack braces.
Get 'em while they're hot.

By chance, tried one of these in Natural today and was amazed that it was as good as my 1964 ES
175 that I bought 35 years ago and have used and loved ever since. I thought the MHS pups might
be a bit hot for me but I was completely wrong. They are warm and mellow at low volume are crisp
and not overly hot when driven. Purchased on the spot and this one will be on tour with me this
summer and fall. Thanks for another superb axe, Gibson. 2016 is a very good year indeed for the
