year level. You are one of three students who have been selected to run
for leader. You have to write an article for the special election edition of the
school newsletter. You have to convince the other students that you should

Use the planning time to organise your ideas.
Stay on the topic: Persuade the students in your year level to
elect you as their leader. Remember that you are writing an article
for a newsletter.
Begin with an introduction that outlines your arguments.
Provide reasons that show that you would make the best leader.
Finish with a conclusion that persuades readers that your
leadership would benefit the school.
Write different types of sentences. Make sure your sentences are
correct,
