Introduction

I already have a book about selling t-

shirts online. The question is why am I
writing another one again?

That’s because this second method

requires no capital when it comes to
advertising.

This one focuses on Instagram free

marketing.

The caveat is you have to create content

that people like.

So you ultimately have to spend more

time with this method (instead of paying
$100 in Facebook advertising).

If you’re a beginner who doesn’t have

much capital, then this short guide is
perfect for you.

You will learn how to make money

online with as little capital as possible.
You don’t need to be a marketing expert
and you certainly don’t need any
business experience.

Here’s my promise to you.

If you can follow instructions, then you

can make money.
This book is design to be step by step.

It means that I will take you from newbie

to someone who has the skills and
knowledge to make a living as an
Instagram/Teespring marketer.

If you’re willing to do the work, if

you’re willing to spend a little bit of
your free time in this business, then you
will succeed.

If you’re someone who’s afraid of work

and commitment to success, then just
read other books.

Here’s the simple process of making

money via Instagram Teespring method.
Step 1 – Find a market

Step 2 – Create a design

Step 3 – Create content and gain

followers

Step 4 – Set up your product listing on

Teespring

Step 5 – Sell the product on Instagram

I will explain each step in details in

each chapter.

Are you ready?

Let’s start.
Chapter 1 – Find a Market

Here’s a simple thing that you should

remember before you choose a market or
a topic.

ONLY TARGET TOPICS THAT

ALREADY HAVE THOUSANDS OR
MILLIONS OF FOLLOWERS

If you sell product on small niches, then

you probably won’t make more than
$100 per month.

I don’t care if you’re super passionate

about it.
If only a few people care about it, then
you won’t make money.

I found some method of searching for

awesome topics to target.
THE TOP 3 MARKET RESEARCH
METHOD

#1 – Instagram Celebrities

The first one that you can target are

Instagram celebrities.

I’m not just talking about Taylor Swift

level celebrities.

I’m talking about celebrities on a niche

that you want.

E.g.
There are thousands of Instagram
celebrities that you probably never
heard about.
They have followers of 50k-500k.

50k is not a lot but if you combine all of

these celebrities, you can easily reach
millions.

Once you start using the same hashtags

that they are using, then you can now
reach the same people.

Want to sell motivation tshirts?

Then go search for motivational

speakers on Instagram.
Or go to Instagram, type your hashtag
and then search for other accounts that
has good content.

Go follow these accounts and then see

what hashtags they are using.
#2 – Movies & TV Shows

This is my favorite.
I literally just have to think about a tv
show or movie that I like.

E.g.

I like the TV SHOW “How I Met Your

Mother.”

If there are pages about it with thousands

or millions of followers, then this means
that this topic is awesome!
The number of hashtags is also a big
indicator of how big your topic is.

Once you chose a specific market, go

follow the fan pages that has more than
50k followers.
Then start looking at what hashtags they
are using.
#3 – Sports Team

There’s hundreds of sports team out

there from various sports.
You can target basketball, football,
soccer etc.

I recommend that you target the second

tier teams according to standings or
record.

E.g.

While I’m writing this, the western

conference NBA record looks something
like this.
Instead of targeting warriors, I would
target spurs, rockets or clippers.
They are big markets but not as big as
the Warriors.

By doing this, you can avoid too much

competition.

However, if you’re confident that you

can create better content than other
accounts, then go choose the leading
team instead.

It’s totally up to you.

Once you chose a market to sell into, the

next step is about hiring someone to do
the design for you.
Chapter 2 – Outsourcing Teespring
Design

Before you outsource a design, you need

to have an idea of a design that you want
to create.

Better yet, have a design that people will

buy.

I want you to find someone whom is

your target market.

Then go look at some designs on Google

and ask her what she likes best.

That design will serve as the foundation

for your first project.

You won’t necessarily copy it but rather

get some design cues and styling from it.

Just simple Google “topic tshirts”

E.g.
Go visit these stores and look at the
designs that you would wear youself.
Then take a screenshot and show it to
your target market.

Ask what they like best and decide for

yourself what style do you want to sell.
Now, you’re ready to hire someone to do
a design for you.

#1 – FIVERR
This one is perfect for beginners
because it’s cheap as hell.

It only cost $5 per design.

That’s why I would highly recommend

that you hire at least 5 freelancers to do
a t-shirt design for you.

When you’re searching for a freelancer,

always look at her portfolio.

Does she have the design cues that you

would expect from your final product?
Also, only hire some who has 100 + 5-
star reviews.
When you hire freelancers, pass the
design that you want and make sure that
she’ll only GET INSPIRATION from it
and not copy the whole thing.

You’ll usually get a design finish in less

than 24 hours.
#2 – 99DESIGNS

This one is for those who already have

experience a a few sales under their
belt.

If you don’t have any capital, then just

ignore this part and go straight to the
next chapter.
I love 99designs.com because I can
always expect high quality work.

I never once been disappointed with

99designs.

The final product is top notch and the

design always seems to look right on the
t-shirt themselves (in real life and not
just in pictures).

I recommend that you read this page to

know how 99design works.
https://99designs.com/how-it-works

If you want to fast track your success,

then go ahead and invest $199 on your
first design.
If you’re not gonna eat dinner for the
next 1 week because of it, then just use
Fiverr.

It usually takes 7 days for the design

bids to be finished and finalized.

The great thing about this is if you don’t

like any of the designs, then you can just
refund your money and move on.
Chapter 3 – How to Create Insta-
Content

This is the most important part of the

process.

Simply put, if you have crappy content,

then you won’t get any followers and
you won’t get any t-shirt buyers.

I spend 70% of my effort in creating

Instagram content.

It’s that important.

Yes, more than the designs, more than the

act of selling it.
It’s all about providing good content to
your audience.

TOOLS THAT YOU NEED

Before you create your content, you need

to have a smartphone or some kind of
editing device.

It could be your Iphone, ipad, or android

phone.

Then, you will need to get some free

apps for editing photos.

THE APPS
1 – Pixlr

This one if perfect for editing collages.

2 – Qwik
If you want to edit some kind of scene or
additional filter, use this.

3 – PICLAB HD
Perfect for adding sub-titles. You will
use this quite a lot!

4 – Path On
This one is for adding text with lots of
different styles.
5 – Camera+

If you want a higher quality and a

brighter look photo, then this is the app
to use.
6 – Camera 360

This could be your all in one editing

apps.
It can do text, filters etc.

7 – Tadaa
This one is for additional filters that
other may not have.

Once you got these apps, you just have to

practice every day.

Trust me, you can easily learn how to

edit properly if you just spend at least 30
minutes a day editing photos instead of
playing candy crush
It’s worth the time investment, I promise.

The next lesson are the types of contents

that you can create on Instagram.

Not too many people are teaching this,

so take note!

TYPES OF CONTENT

These are the types of content that you

can post based on your topic.

1 – Just Image
This one is perfect if your photo is really
awesome.

It could be just an edited picture of your

topic or celebrity.
2 – Quotes/Scenes

This one gets a lot of likes and

interaction from the followers.

Put a quote from or by your topic.

You can also out your favorite scenes

and then add a sub-title.
3 – Memes

This one is fund to do.

You can choose the latest memes and

then add your own text or context of
whatever it means.

“That moment when you finally realize

that F.R.I.E.ND.S will always be your
favorite tv show”
4 – Collage

This is just basically a collection of

images.

You can also do a collection of scenes

from your topic.
5 – Stats

This one of for those who are targeting

sports teams or athletes.

You can put their latest stats and share

them to your audience.
I love these kind of posts. They’re
informative and quite refreshing to see.
6 – Video scenes
If you can get a hold of the video copies
of your topic, then you can also cut those
best scenes and then share it on
Instagram.

7 – Confessions

Almost nobody does this one.

This will be your personal opinions

about your topic.

E.g.

“I wish that HIMYM could go on

forever!”
Then on your description, you’ll just say
“Press the HEART button if you agree!”

8 – Facts

This one requires a little bit of reading

and googling.
Just search for unknown facts about your
topic.
Then one fact could be 1 post.

JIM PARSONS AUDITIONED TO

PLAY BARNEY.
Put an image and then on the description,
explain the details of the facts.
THE MOST IMPORTANT
MARKETING TOOL

So what’s the most important marketing

tool on Instagram?

If you said “HASHTAGS” then you’re

absolutely right.

I always put at least 30 hashtags on

every post I make.

What you can do is search for your

competitors (that you should be
following) and then just copy what
hashtags they are using.
Use the hashtags that are getting
thousands of mentions.

And here’s another trick.

Put the hashtags on the comment section.

By doing this, your post won’t look

messy.

It’ll have the same function as putting it

on the post itself.

DESCRIPTION

For the actual description, make it short

and simple.

A 2 sentence explanation of what the

post is all about will do.
Heck, sometimes, even a 1-word post
will be as impactful as a 2 paragraph
post.
Chapter 4 - Product Set-Up

It’s easy to create a product listing.

Just use TEESPRING.COM

The great thing about Teespring is you

don’t need to spend money on inventory
and shipping.

Your job is to just market the t-shirt and

they will do the rest for you.

So register for a free account and start

setting up your listing.
Upload your artwork.
Then choose the t-short color that you
want to sell.
Then choose the quality of your tee.
I recommend PREMIUM TEE.
Then click SELL THIS to continue.

Choose an easily achievable sales goal

in the beginning.
10 would be a good start.
Choose the price you want to sell to.

Then click NEXT.

Put your campaign title.

Make sure that it’s highly related to your
design.

For the description…

Start with calling out your target market.

Then give the benefits of the product.

Then tell them about the sized &

shipping information.

You can also add some scarcity to make

them buy now.
The last part is adding your call to
action.

Simply ask them to buy now or grab

their own today.
Then choose a category.
For the campaign length, start with 14
days.

They will start shipping if you

accomplish your sales goal or as long as
you are making a profit.

For the URL, it should be highly related

to your market.
This will also help you get extra traffic
from Google SEO.

Just simply hit LAUNCH and you’re

done.
Chapter 5– How to Sell on Instagram

Selling your t-shirts on Instagram is easy

as long as you provide great content to
your followers.

You can’t just post about your t-shirt

very day!

You’ll burn them out and they will

unfollow you.

So how do you sell them lots of shirt

without irritating them or making them
feel “sold?”

SIMPLE.
Instead of selling them your shirt every
chance that you have, you have to
provide awesome content first.

So here’s how your profile would look

like if you follow this strategy.
C = CONTENT

P = PROMOTION

So for every 8 content, you only promote

once.

Then, for the SALES POST. You’ll just

do something like this.
Use Google shortner to put the short link
on your image and the put the longer link
in your website bio.

That’s it.

You don’t need to hard sell the

customers.

Just use 30-40 hashtags so you can reach

as many fans as possible.

Then repeat the process and make more

money!

actually implement the lessons in this
