Electric Current
Electric Current:
Electric Current is defined as
the rate of flow of charge
through an area held
perpendicular to the
direction of flow of charge

Is Current a Vector or Scalar?
❖ Electric current has direction, so it should be a Vector Quantity.

❖ But, All vector quantities follow Vector Law of Addition.

❖ Electric Current do NOT follow Vector Law of Addition.
