Vanilla Cake Recipe

Prep Time 20 minutes


Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 50 minutes
Servings 10 slices
Ingredients
4 Eggs
1 1/2 cups Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
Pinch of Salt
2 cups Flour
4 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 cup Margarine
1 cup Milk
Cake Topping
1 pkt Instant Pudding
2 cups Icing Sugar
6 tbsp Margarine
1/4 cup Milk
Instructions
. Preheat oven to 180ºC.
. Beat eggs and sugar well.  
. Sift flour, baking powder and salt into the eggs. 
. Mix. 
. Boil margarine and milk. 
. Add to the rest of the ingredients. 
. Add vanilla. 
. Spoon batter into two tins and bake for 30 minutes.
Cake Topping
. Cream the margarine. 
. Add sifted icing sugar and instant pudding.
. Add the milk a little bit at a time. (You may not need all the milk). 
. Beat well.
. Stand for 2 minutes to stiffen.
