OBJECTIVES:

This BHA was used to drill out the cement plug used to seal off the hole in the casing.

RESULTS:

This BHA was run into the riser until just above the BOP. At this po1nt tripping was stopped and the shear rams were closed in order to
pressure test the cement plug.

200 PSI pressure was applied in order to determine whether or not the cement job was successful in sealing the split casing. After 10
min the 200-PSI had dropped to 110 PSI. Surface test's and double checks confirmed that the pressure was leaking through the casing
and to the seabed. The cement job was not 100% successful.

At this point it was decided by the Company Representatives to continue with the original plan and drill out the 20" casing even though it
was leaking. The pumps were brought up to a rate of 2.2m3 at a depth of 1255 meters and cement stringers were tagged at a depth of
1261meters. At a depth of 1266 meters good cement was encountered. The cement plug was drilled with no surface RPM to avoid
damaging the cement sheath around the hole in the casing.

The Cement job was found to be good in places and very poor in places (stringy and ratty) The base of the plug was noted at 1298
meters and the assembly was run into the hole and stopped at the shoe to wait on orders from town.

After receiving the OK from CNSOPB to drill ahead with the casing in this condition we drilled out the casing shoe. After drilling out we
proceeded ahead in a controlled manner as not to load the annulus with cuttings.

Surface RPM was kept low (15 RPM) as not to disturb the fragile cement around the split In the casing. The section was drilled to a TD
of 1748 meters. At TD several circulations of mud and seawater we made prior to spotting mud on bottom. The BHA was tripped out of
the hole to run casing.
