In the graphical model, you will modify only the terms that are in color/underlined in this example equation, for each band.

The Imagine Graphic Model, COST_TM5.gmd, looks like this when opened in Modeler> Model Maker:
Double click on this object to enter the input image name.

Enter the values from the Excel table in this row of objects, in order, for bands 1,2,3,4,5,7.
Double-click on each object to open the dialogue and fill in the portions of each equation.

Do not change these parts of the model.

Double click on this object to enter the output image name.

HOW TO MAKE THIS WORK:

1. Copy D:/NDAC/TM_Atmo_Radio_Correction_Model.xls to <your_city>/<Tmfolder>/Atmo_Rad/


2. Copy D:/NDAC/COST_TM_L5.gmd to the same folder
3. Fill in Dnmin -
In Imagine, open your TM image.
Open Utility/LayerInfo. Click on the Histogram icon.
Position the cursor at the histogram curve minimum. The value will display at the bottom of the screen.
Enter value in spreadsheet. (cyan)
Repeat for all bands
4. Fill in sun elevation (from TM header). (cyan)
5. Get the Sun-Earth distance fom the Ephemeris data (http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eph/) (orange)
6. Open Imagine; click Modeler icon; open Model Maker; navigate to your copy of COST model
7. Double click the first model entries; fill in appropriate variables from spreadsheet
8. Enter appropriate input/output files
9. Run the model.
