You are on page 1of 3

This is your first Activity. At the end of course, you will have a Hands-on Activity.

We
strongly suggest you follow this activity because it will determine how well you
understand the concepts.

Activity 1 - DepEd NCR

Step 1 - Create a Google Classroom with your class description

TIP - Put your name in the Section Field of Google Classroom. Your principal will
appreciate you for this because it will be shown in the Google Classroom interface.

For Example: Section 7-Maginhawa (J.Santos)

Step 2 - Create a Welcome Message to your students using Materials.

The welcome message is important because, remember, your students are also new to
online learning. Make your message warm, sincere and encouraging.

Step 3 - Create an Inspirational Material using Attachments.

Look for a prayer, inspirational song, national anthem (it's up to you) on YouTube and
attach it to your material.

Step 4 - Ask Your Students Something About Online Learning

Use the question feature to ask about - connection, device, etc. When your students
answer, you will have an idea of their internet and device situation.
For me, the Welcome Message is the most important. So please share your Welcome
Message in our EduRescue Teacher Community so we, educators, can give you
feedback. This activity will also serve as an example on how to start discussions and
interactions in your class. So read the posts and make comments.

Join the EduRescue School for Teachers FB Group, link below:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/SchoolforTeachers/

Copy/Paste your Welcome Message only then post on the FaceBook Group. Put

hashtags #Heroes2021 #EduRescue on the post so we can track your message.

In order for us not to flood the FB Group, we will only approve & post some Welcome
Messages as examples. Take note, if your message is not posted in the FB group, it
doesn't mean it is not good, we are limiting the posts so you can see how interactions
work.

For other teachers, please comment and/or give suggestions on the posts that you
see. Tulong-tulong tayong mga guro. This is our #TeachSupport culture for all activities
that are being posted on EduRescue. By sharing and reading Welcome Messages, you
will also get more ideas for your class.

We will feature the best Welcome Messages.

See you there!

regarding distance learning. I am really trying to learn because I want to be the best
teacher for my students. I promise you I will do everything in my power to make sure
the education of your children will continue as lifelong learners. This is my oath as a
