UNIT 11: TRAVELING AROUND VIET NAM


PERIOD: GETTING STARTED – LISTEN AND READ
I. OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Listen and read for detail to identify true or false information through the dialogue.
- To express interest and learn new structure
- Know more famous places
- Talk about places that people should go in Viet Nam
II. LANGUAGE CONTENTS:
Vocabulary: water buffalo, sugar cane, corn, crop
Grammar: Would you mind + V-ing,
Would you mind if + S + V (past)
III. TECHNIQUES:

Pair work, group work, question and answer, correct the false sentences, role play, interview

IV. TEACHING AIDS:


Text book, white board, sub – board, marker, projector, handout.

Warm up * GETTING STARTED: Game: MATCHING
(5mins) - T lets Sts play a mini game. Rule:
- T divides class into 6 groups. Each + Work in group
