Minescape User’s Guide

The aim of this manual is to provide you with an understanding of basic


Minescape concepts and to explain the terminology that is specific to
Minescape, and in some cases, mine planning in general. All Minescape
users will benefit from reading this manual. If you are using Minescape for
the first time, it is important that you read (and understand the content of)
this manual.
This manual is an entry point into the Minescape documentation set. You will
be directed elsewhere for additional information once a concept or topic has
been introduced.
This manual assumes that you have a reasonable knowledge of computing
concepts and terminology, and mining concepts and terminology.

IMPORTANT: The Minescape User’s guide is currently under development. It may


be incomplete in part and may contain some inaccuracies.

You will notice as you proceed through the User’s Guide that there are
various buttons which allow you to navigate through the manual. The
following buttons are included as navigational aids:
